I know I'm way behind on pictures. Good news is I have been taking them, I just haven't been able to upload them to my computer because...I have a real camera now!!! Jonathan and Jess are the coolest people known to man and pitched in to get me a new canon powershot for Christmas! It's awesome! They're awesome! I like to say awesome! Anyway, here is a really crappy picture of it that I took with my camera phone. 

It's blue! *swooon* Unfortunately, for whatever reason, my computer doesn't seem to want to read the SD card...which is pretty lame, but I suspect I may need to use that disc thing that came with the camera. I was too excited to read any instructions when I got the camera though (on Saturday) and in my excited/busy state I didn't pack anything but the camera itself. So...here I am stuck in snowy Michigan without the ability to upload pictures. I'll have to commandeer someone else's laptop and try to upload soon. Until then, Merry Christmas! Yay for new cameras!!

Went with a few friends to see Tron at the Grand Lake Theater. Although the movie was a complete bust (but hilarious), there was a guy playing the organ before the show and THAT was pretty cool. 

After Party

Every good office party is made more bearable by an even better after-party. At this particular after party, somehow, Katherine bit her glass and took a big chunk out of it. I have no idea how that happened, but here she is holding up what is left of it (after she spit the remaining offending pieces into the puke bucket). Good times.

Jen, Riess, Nicole and Ann led everyone in a um...sing-a-long caroling at the Christmas party today. Looks pretty calm doesn't it? Yeah, well, I'm pretty sure at least 2 songs were being sung simultaneously and for some reason "round yon virgin" made me laugh hysterically. It was basically ridiculous in every way imaginable.

So we (and by "we" I actually mean Eric) attempted to make wheat-free (for me) and yeast-free (for him) pizza crust at his birthday party last night. Out of three different attempts only one turned out "well" and I'm still not sure if it tasted good because it WAS good or if it tasted good because we ate it after the one pictured above which was pretty much inedible (despite how much this picture reveals me choking down). I was trying to be nice and just eat it, but my face apparently gave me away. Anyway, we'd had enough wine that the situation was rather humorous and at least...and now we know that cornmeal-based wheat-free/yeast-free crust is basically the worst thing in the world.

Took a walk to get coffee and tried to stop by this cool little shop just to look around. Alas it was closed. However, we noticed the printing...press...thing? that they had in the back. It looks a lot cooler in person...this is a lame post! But I'm tired soooooooo OH WELL!

I put a tiny little Christmas tree in my room and leave the lights on when I go to sleep. It fills my dreams with joy and hope and joyness. Well...actually...my dreams are just as weird and random as ever, but I DO like the holiday glow it makes in the dark...though I think I'll need to take it down soon as we get a real tree. It is kinda bright...
