A friend of mine works in the mail room at the school I work at. Apparently people she works with have a difficult time figuring out which boxes to put mail in and which not to. As such, she has devised this wonderful system where tiny little fire fighters and tiny little police officers guard unused mail boxes so that no mail is put into those boxes. When our facilities director saw this she laughed until she cried. Sometimes, at this place, laughing and crying are both necessary coping mechanisms.
