Reprise

Out on my first ever brick workout I spotted a partner to this little guy.

Oakland Pride

3-28-10

Today was the first time Oakland has hosted a marathon in 25 years. It was really fun to participate (as a member of a 4-person relay team) - the vibe was incredible. Residents were out cheering the runners on and excited for an event showing Oakland pride. After the race, our team plus a couple of friends went to find brunch. On the way, I found another source of Oakland pride - Oaksterdam University. Yes. Here in Oakland you CAN get a degree in growing pot for medical use. I hella <3 Oakland.

Big Winner

I'm running the Oakland Marathon Relay in the morning. Today was the race expo and I won a little stuffed Geico gecko! Here he is, enjoying the expo.

I Ain't Lyin'!

Out on my run today I saw this beast staring out at me through a shop window.

Needless to say, I ran faster - what if he saw how tasty I looked and broke out?!!?

Revenge is Sweet

Jess made me go running, so I took a picture of her with a bright flash. And balance returns to the universe.
