Serious bruise from body sparring with a guy who didn't know what he was doing, nor did he know his own strength. This is the result of me blocking his punches, and my elbow smacking into my hip bone from the force of his punch. I told him not to hit so hard (after all we weren't really sparring and he's a boy AND even if we had been sparring or fighting for real he wasn't even getting points for god's sake 'cause I was blocking them all. ugh). Anyway, he didn't hit less hard. And now I have a nasty ass bruise on my side (and on my elbow for that matter, though not as dramatic as this). Thanks a lot dude.

Yep. I rode BART today and all I got was this lousy sticker.

Apparently if you get spotted wearing one by some special person you get a $10 or $50 BART card.

I didn't get spotted...yet!

Gluten-Free Goodness

I actually made this a couple of weeks ago, but just now downloaded the pics from my camera.

I made a gluten-free coffee cake with fresh blueberries for our staff potluck! Here it is. Yummmm. It was SO delicious if I do say so myself (and I do).

I got a present in the mail at work today! Delphine and Nicole made me a mug of them with the mugs I made them! It was so unexpected. This totally made my day, you have no idea. I love them!

Trying out my first San Francisco food truck for lunch! Best burger I've had in a long time! Infused with bacon, on a gluten-free bun with AMAZING fries? Yes please! Le Truc on Brannan. Nom nom nom!
