First day at my new job! Yay!

New York, New York!

A few outtakes from my quick trip to NYC! I had such a blast hanging out with Daniel and Kiki and Sarah! Here is my obligatory shot of the Statue of Liberty (it's so small!). I am a real American now that I've seen it (finally!)

 Daniel, Kiki, and Sarah hanging out in Central Park above and Strawberry Fields memorial in Central Park for John Lennon below. I loved Central Park, but the thing I loved the most was the little 5-year-old boy who announced disgustedly that the man playing guitar in Strawberry Fields: "he isn't even playing a Beatles song!!!" That will be my child someday. 

 And finally a shot from atop the Empire State Building (which oddly enough I keep wanting to call the Eiffel Tower. Sigh. Geography + Bekah = Disaster).

New Camera!!!

Yep, that's right! I got a new camera! I took advantage of having today off and took my camera in to see if it was fixable. 

It wasn't.

So I got a new one!!! It's a lot nicer than the last one (RIP), and yes, I made sure to get the extended warranty.

Last day at PSR. Very bittersweet. 

But I got a "Certificate of Awesomeness" from Katherine. lol. I love her.

Kristi. This is what the label for a can of tuna should look like. Contains: tuna. 

Ingredients: Tuna. Water. Salt

Actually I'm sad this one has salt. I won't buy this one again 'cause of the added salt and I suppose technically buying fish in a can is rather disgusting and ought to be avoided in and of itself. But still. You get my obnoxious hippie holier-than-thou point, right?

Reading labels is fun. ;)
