Teeny Tiny!

I went to the Berkeley Farmer's Market today with my friend, Kuukua, after going to the Y. There was a vendor there with the tiniest lettuce I've ever seen! The Berkeley market is pretty darn good - I'll have to go back another time when I have money...and buy some baby lettuce! 

A Diamond in the Rough

Walking to the bus stop this morning I spied this little guy smiling up at me. He was nestled amongst the leaves and although he looked at me warmly, his crooked smile was slightly unsure. I smiled back and kept walking, knowing I had glimpsed a rare-in-the-wild baby pet rock.

On a work outing today, we stopped by Monterey Market.  They had adorable baby versions of just about everything there was - tangerines, artichokes, etc. Here my co-worker, Kap, holds up a lil' baby pineapple.
